The Mells Emergency Defibrillator
The Mells Emergency Defibrillator is located outside the village shop. The defibrillator is in a sealed box outside the shop. Call 999 first and ask for the access code and instructions from the ambulance service.
NB: if practical ONLY to be used be someone who has been trained. In an emergency read the instructions on the case carefully. Only use in the appropriate situations. If in doubt, WAIT FOR THE AMBULANCE.
Mells Tithe Barn
Mells Tithe Barn is a Grade II* listed building of 14th/15th century construction which now provides a unique and charming village hall facility. The Tithe Barn is situated centrally on Selwood Road close to the Grade I listed church and manor house and Talbot Inn. The Barn contains a large wooden floored hall with a raised stage at one end. There are toilets and a fully fitted domestic kitchen at one end of the hall and a separate bar area in the entrance hall. Chairs and tables for up to 100 people are provided and outside there is an extensive and private garden area, suitable for a marquee, accessed via double doors leading directly off the hall.
Mells Barn is available for wedding receptions, club activities, meetings, presentations or dances and parties, large and small and can be booked via the booking secretary Helen Ricketts.

Toddler Group

Our church is open to visitors during daylight hours. We hope you will enjoy the atmosphere and history of this holy space. The church and grounds are a lovely place for reflection, prayer or pure enjoyment.
We have a service on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 9.30. And we meet for a short service of Morning Prayer on Wednesday mornings, also at 9.30.

First Mells St Andrew’s Beavers/Cubs meet at Mells Barn on Monday evenings.

Tai Chi
